Charlotte was so busy today "helping" I could hardly get a thing done. I have been cleaning laundry and sorting clothes all morning, trying to sort out what no longer fits our growing girl. This became an impossible task today! Why, one might ask...Our very busy little helper decided to take the clean and folded laundry and put them on the dog! I think that was the moment I decided that my work would have to be put on hold for a bit! Good thing our busy little lady is so darn cute!
Also worth noting that we have a VERY good dog!

Hitchhiker #2
So we had our appointment with the Neonatologist today. The baby is 18 weeks and thus far is doing great. We got to see lots of pictures of our new addition, but the hitchhiker was not very cooperative today. we will be going back for another ultra sound in 4 weeks! They COULD have told us the gender, but we decided NOT to find out. It was SOOO hard to walk out the building not knowing if it is a girl or a boy! Here is the Hitchhiker's photo shoot!
The Hitchhiker!
Checking out the feet!

We are excited and looking forward to the day we get to meet this little bundle!

Hanging in the yard
The long summer days leave us lots of time to play out in the yard in the evenings. Charlotte's favorite place to be these days is for sure outside!!
Here are a few quick photo's of our outside time the other day.
Found a bug to play with...A smile...playing the "sit down" game. Basics of the game...stand up and sit down while saying "sit down." Yes, she does make faces like these on occasion! As someone once said, when it comes to kids you ALWAYS know exactly how they are feeling. When they are tired they let you know. When they are happy they smile, laugh or giggle, and when they are unhappy they surely let you know one way or another!Ah back to sweetness!

A funny Moment
Sometimes Charlotte can be so sweet, other times she is just down right funny! This morning, mom was suffering with a bit of morning sickness. With dad already off at work and mom running off to the bathroom, Charlotte decided to follow along. She wondered into the bathroom and watched the horrible seen unfold before her. Charlotte took note of the events and calmly waited for me to finish. Once I was done she walked over to the toilet, leaned over and coughed as loud and as hard as she could. She then proudly looked at me, smiled and started clapping.
As bad as I felt at the moment in, I couldn't help but stop and smile at our little ham. It truly is fun having a 16 month old to hang out with!
