Summer Time Fun!

Well, we have had yet another fun filled week!! Charlotte turned the big 5 months and mom turned the big 30 something! It is hard to believe that Charlotte is already five months old. She is sitting up like a champ and learning all kinds of new things! A few weeks ago we found an outside swing for Charlotte at a garage sale. She loves being outside, so the swing is a big hit! Here are a few quick photos! Swings are so fun!!!Not sure what this face was...but it sure was cute!Olive keeping an eye on her Charlotte. One last 4th of July event!

Well, we wrapped up our weekend with a quiet day at home. We enjoyed some great pizza and of course Starbucks, but other then that we all hung out around the house for most of the day. It was nice to have a quiet day after our fun filled weekend!

In the evening time, we went to see the Castle Rock fireworks show that had been postponed due to rain the night before. It was fun to see yet another fireworks show and this one was our favorite for sure! Charlotte was mesmerized by the bright lights and pretty colors. She wasn't scared at all by the loud noise just set back and watched the show! Here are a few pictures from our last event for the weekend!
Our HUGE Pudge Brother's Pizza! The thing was 18"...too much food for the two of us so we invited our neighbor over to help us eat the wonderful pizza!!

Fireworks!!! Charlotte and mommy hanging out before the show!We had such a fun and exciting weekend! We hope that you all had a wonderful 4Th as well!

Lots of love to all of you! John, Kristin, and Charlotte =)

More fun on the 4th!

We had a fun filled day yesterday celebrating the 4Th! We kicked off the day by having a quiet Sunday morning letting Charlotte sleep. We think the poor kiddo has started to teeth, so she is waking up very early in the morning! So, when she wanted to take a nice long nap in the late morning we were happy to oblige. We took off in the afternoon to see a Rockies game. This was Charlotte's very first baseball game and she did great! It was a whooper of a game for her first game, it was a 15 inning game! However, the Rockies finally won!!! After the game we headed over to some friends for good food, good conversation, and fireworks! It was a fun evening. They have a little boy who is three months old. Charlotte enjoyed a few light hearted conversations with the little man!
Charlotte and little Blake.

We have had a fun filled weekend thus far. Still more to come today! We hope you all have had a wonderful weekend as well!

Hugs,

John, Kristin, and Charlotte

Kick off of the 4th

We kicked of the holiday weekend by sleeping in and having a relaxing Saturday morning. In the afternoon we headed off to our church picnic. There was lots of yummy food, baseball, and of course wonderful people. Charlotte had so much fun watching EVERYTHING she didn't get a nap in in the afternoon. Here are a few pictures from our afternoon...

John hitting some baseballs before the big game!
Charlotte NOT taking a nap in her car seat... Just too much to see!
Charlotte watching the game with Mrs Debbie.
John running the bases after hitting a home run!!!
John helped a few of the little ones bat and run the bases...so cute!
John then took Charlotte for her very first batting practice!
Then of course she had to run the bases!!!
John even took Charlotte down her very first slide. She was so tired by the end of the day I am not sure she even knew what was going on!
What a fun way to start a fun filled weekend! More fun to come!!
