Waiting for Grandma

Today I told Charlotte that Grandma was on her way. Charlotte climbed up on the couch and started watching out the window, so I asked "is Grandma here?," and she would look and look. It was hard work to wait for Grandma...
(Please note the windows are not really as dirty as they look, it is the screens. The screens are hopefully going to be replaced later this year!!)
"Gramma is coming!! Hurry Hurry Hurry""Where are you Gramma?""Grandma...where are you?"
"Truck!" Sounds a bit more like "trruu""Is she up there?""How about down there?"*Side tracked for a moment*
okay, back to waiting....Waiting is hard work...
"Yaaaaay Grandma is here!!!"

Clowning around...

This week Charlotte and I have been clowning around the house. She is walking up a storm this week, I think she is beginning to understand that walking might be faster then crawling! Earlier this week I pulled out the camera to snap a few pictures and when she saw the camera she started making all kinds of funny faces.

Busy Busy Girl!

Our little Charlie Bear has been busy busy busy this week. She now has a few new favorite things to do around the house that keep mom VERY busy. This week she has figured out that cabinets, drawers, and shelves all hold fun things to get into. All day long she is either in the kitchen cleaning out the Tupperware, pulling ALL the dvd's off the shelves, or perhaps finding anything else in arms reach to yank onto the floor and play with! Good thing mom has a nice pair of running shoes to keep up!

Well, folks it is official, she is learning to walk! Not sure we are ready for this, but here we go!

A quick post

We have been recouping from the holidays. We had a great time hanging out with John's sister Carmen and her wonderful family over Christmas, however, having things back to normal is wonderful! (sorry for all the red eye...need to work on that)Charlotte is getting so big these days. She talks and talks and talks, from the moment she gets up until the moment she goes to bed she talks and talks! Charlotte has also begun to find just about anything funny. She laughs and laughs at just about anything and everything...so cute! Here are a few pictures from the past couple of weeks.

Good Morning!!!
I feel as though I should explain this picture...She is walking along side her little walker. She takes this toy with her everywhere! She will even pick it up, turn around, and "walk" herself back in another direction. Walking is coming!Our sweat baby girl...growing up so fast!

2011 Already!

Okay, so I know it has been FOREVER since I last posted, but we had a very busy December! My new years resolution is to blog more frequently!

Anyway, we decided to kick off the new year with our video for 2010! It is only about three minutes long, you will see a year it has been! Hope you enjoy!
