We have a crawler!!

Well, it is official we have a crawling baby girl! She finally figured it out and has been crawling around the house for the past two days. Here are a few pictures and a short video!Now that she can crawl Charlotte has decided to get into EVERYTHING! Her new favorite toy...the dog bone! Yuck! It is a never ending battle between myself, Charlotte, and the dog, it goes something like this... Charlotte goes after the dog bone, mom tosses it down the hall, Charlotte takes off after it, mom says no and gets Charlotte to play with some toys, the dog goes and brings the bone back, Charlotte goes after the bone.... Mom is tired after the last few days! =)

Finger Food And The Sippy Cup!

Charlotte has had quite the week this week. We introduced her to some small finger foods. They are these little puffs that dissolve in the mouth and were okay-ed by her pediatrician. She wasn't quite sure what to think of them for a few days, but seems to like them now. We also gave her the sippy cup for the first time. Charlotte figured that out right away! She sucked on it for a few seconds and when nothing came out she tipped it up like a pro! Here are a few pictures from her big week!She is changing every day! She is up on all 4's a lot these days and will be crawling very soon! Charlotte really is a fun blessing to our little family! More update to come soon!!

Luke

Our family had quite the blessing on August 13th, little Luke Neil Roberts was welcomed into the world. Charlotte and I got the privilege to stay with Chris and Becky and help them out for about a week and a half! John headed back to Colorado so he could work while Charlotte and I got to hang out a whole bunch with the Roberts Family! I got to help with things around the house like cooking and cleaning. I remember what it was like to be very pregnant, not always as excited and fun as it is cracked up to be!Here are a few pictures from our week!

And finally little Luke! He weighed in at 7 lbs 12 oz and was 19.5 oz.

Oh to simple entertainment!

Now that Charlotte is teething, I find myself trying to find things that entertain her. The poor thing has been teething for a week and often goes from laughing to crying in a blink. So, to keep her mind off things I try and keep her busy! Here are a few pictures of our fun this week.
We decided to play in the sink this morning. She loved it!
We started giving Charlotte s self feeder this week. I cut up some fresh apple and let her chew chew chew!! Charlotte seems to really like it!!

I have to say I will be very happy once this teething thing ends...for a few weeks anyway!

Our big girl!!!

I know it has been a while since our last post, but we will have several new post over the next couple of days. We have been settling back at home after being gone for three whole weeks!

Our big girl is almost SEVEN months old! She had her 6 month check up last week and the doctor couldn't say enough good things about her. Charlotte is a growing girl! She weighed in at 14 lbs putting her in the 45% for weight, and measured in at a whopping 26.5 inches long!! (75-80%). The doctor said she thinks Charlotte is going to be a tall girl! John was excited as this would make for a good volleyball player!

Charlotte has become a great sitter and is now busy scooting around on the floor. She even puts
herself in the crawling position trying so hard to figure out how to move! It won't be long and we will have a very mobile baby girl! Here are a few pictures and a short video!Here you can see her scooting around on the floor!

We finally have some great family pictures. We took Charlotte and headed down to the wonderful photo place called Portrait Innovations. We love the pictures they take, they do such a wonderful job.
